In 1950
How it started. Mr Kamol started his business by sewing footballs in a temple at Sapan Leung. He learnt how to do it by repairing the football brought by Europeans. At the beginning, he was able to make only 2-3 balls a day and sold them off one by one.
In 1952
Football Thai is established. As demand for his services and products grew, Mr Kamol rented a shop in Latkrabang and registered a company under the name of Football Thai. |

His Majesty The King receiving soccer and rugby balls manufactured by FBT Factory from Mr Kamol Chokephaibulkit during the Thai Products Fair at Saranrom Palace.
In 1966
The 5th Asian Games was held in Bangkok. It was FBT’s first sponsorship involvement with the Games at international level.
In 1971
After the 6th Asian Games in Bangkok in 1970, Mr Kamol opened a showroom near the National Stadium in Pathumwan and made it the FBT Head Office. |

In 1978
FBT footballs received FIFA approval. FBT was the first Asian company to receive such recognition. With the FIFA approval, FBT footballs were used in the 8th Asain Games in Bangkok the same year.

FBT formally signed to be the official Sponsor to the Olympic Committee of Thailand in supplying the attire and apparel for the Thai Contingent in the SEA game.
In 1993
FBT built its second factory with true potential to be a world class sports equipment manufacturer. Moreover, FBT formally signed to be the 4-year term official Sponsor to the Olympic Committee of Thailand (1993- 1996) in supplying the attire and apparel for the Thai Contingent in the SEA game, Asian Game and Olympic Games.
In 1995
FBT Sports Complex Building was opened. The 11-floor sports department store is solely dedicated to selling sporting goods, equipment and wears under the FBT brand as well as other types of brands from all available manufacturers. The showroom-com-retail outlet is located opposite of the Sports Authority of Thailand Sports Complex at Huamark.
In 1997

FBT was the Master Licensing Agent and an official Sponsor of the 13th Asian Games in Bangkok
In 2001
FBT Factory I and II receive ISO 9002
Certification for the manufacture of sport wear, sport rackets, petanque boule & equipment, boxing equipment, sports shoes, heavy sport equipment, rubber & synthetic leather sports balls. In the same year, FBT receives international recognition with the Best Trade Name – 2001 (New Millennium Award) at Paris, France. Moreover, FBT formally signed to be the 4-year term official Sponsor to the Olympic Committee of Thailand for the third round (2001- 2004) in supplying the attire and apparel for the Thai Contingent in the SEA game, Asian Game and Olympic Games.
In 2002
FBT signed to be the official sponsor to The Sports Authority of Thailand for the National Games and the National Youth Games for the year 2002-2006 |

Year 2003:
FBT continues its sponsorship to the Football Association of Thailand for the years 2003-2007.
Year 2005:
FBT received the Superbrands award for the first time. FBT also sponsored the Disabled Sports Association of Thailand for the Asean Paragames and FESPIC Games. It was the first time that FBT unveiled its new sports collection “Technical Garments” incorporating anti-bacterial technologies and UV resistant materials. Moreover, FBT Sponsored the 23 rd SEA Games in 5 major sports, Petanque, Amateur boxing, Amateur Thai Boxing, Taekwando and Panchack Silat.
Year 2006:
FBT received The Superbrands award for the second year in a row. FBT sponsored the “World Petanque Championships” presided by Mr. Claude Azema, the president of the International Petanque Federation. Also Mr. Azema presents FBT with the F.I.P.J.P approval for its “La France” petanque products. FBT’s petanque was the first approved product outside France. Moreover, FBT sponsored The SEA Games, National Games and Youth National games.
Year 2007:
FBT sponsors The 24th SEA Games in Nakorn Ratchasima, Thailand. They also received the sole and official rights to produce and sell official SEA GAMES merchandise, as well as sponsoring equipment for 4 sports Football, Petanque, Boxing and Thai Boxing. All the equipments have been approved by their relative
International Sports Federations.
